Dutch Betting System

Dutch Betting System UK Horse Races

What is a good dutch betting system? Quite simply the one that makes you daily and long term profits with limited risk. Sounds too good to be true!
Yes, if dutching horses for a living was that easy everybody would be doing this. Nobody  would have to work again. But life is not that easy, and I wish it was, but we must face facts gambling on horses is an occupational hazard. Ok now let us move onto a interesting dutch betting system that I wrote a few years ago.

Do not be shocked by how simple this system is but as you work through the examples we start adding more and more tips and functionality and gotchas to this dutching system. I wanted to start slowly with the first example so do just take your time and work through the book at your leisure.

There are a number of simple rules to follow before placing a dutching bet but you must not deviate away from these rules. These rules are designed to pick out the best races and horses to place your dutching bets. I am not advising you how much you should stake on your dutching bets that is up to you and your betting bank. But not to dodge this subject completely I would start with a minimum of a £10 dutching stake and increase when you gain confidence in the system.

Rule 1 Must Be A Class 5 Or Class 6 UK Horse Race In Any Race Code

We are only interested in Class 5 and Class 6 in UK horse races of any racing code Flat, All Weather or National Hunt Jump horse racing. These horse races can be non handicap or handicap races. If you look at the screenshot S1 below you will see the excellent racing post race card for the race Ffos Las 1:32 and it is a Class 6 race as underlined in blue. So this race qualifies as it is in the range of a Class 5 and Class 6.
We focus on these types of races as the better class races are won by the better horses who are at the top of the betting market. This has a negative effect due to the low decimal odds available on these horses. Our dutching book value percentage will be too high so we are risking our dutching stake for little profit. I would say there is an exception to this rule I have seen hot handicap races ( high prize money ) with a favourite with low decimal odds. The market tends to get it right and I used to lay these horses in my youth at my peril, you learn by your mistakes!

With class 4 races I find this as an overlap between class 3 or lower ( like class 1 and 2  etc ) and class 5 or higher horse races,  I call class 4 races as the dove tail between class 3 and class 5 and are difficult to predict.
