I have backed horses at decimal odds 310.0 on the Betfair betting exchange for the Cheltenham Champion Hurdle in March 2025 at the festival. The horse was called Golden Ace which returned at 25/1 at SP and ran on the 11th of March 2025. So, is 25/1 at SP a big outsider? In my opinion for that race, it was not. I feel the horse should have been 100/1 or bigger at SP. But I got decimal odds 310.0 ante-post on the Betfair betting exchange.
How Did I Do It 310.0 Betfair Decimal Odds On Golden Ace?
Basically, by studying the race 6 weeks before and taking an ante-post position on the Betfair betting exchange. Ok the horse was a tad lucky as the leading 2 favourites fell in the race but that is racing. I would not have took 25/1 for the horse Golden Ace before the race started.
So What Is A Biggest Outsider To Win Horse Race
Do we define the above heading as purely on SP or by ante-post mining on the Betfair betting exchange months before the race starts?
The two approaches are different mine is the latter not the former.
