VIDEO COURSE HOW TO STUDY HORSE RACING FORM CORRECTLY
Why you may ask?
Horse form data can be sliced in so many ways, do we look at the last handicap race the horse ran in where it finished 4th or its best handicap horse rating in its career these are some simple views of horse form data. I am quite fortunate to be able to model horse form data over 10 years asking these sorts of questions and looking for factors that give me the winning edge.
What I soon realised after modelling UK handicap horse racing over 10 years is that one shoe does not fit all and I will delve into this in more detail later.
Some of my horse racing handicap systems look for horse form data that give double priced winners like 20/1 and other systems give 3/1 winners. Both systems mentioned here look at handicap horse form data in different ways. On a side note my preference is for the 20/1 winner you have to wait longer for a winner but in the end they are more profitable especially using Betfair betting exchange.
I tend to use the Betfair place market looking for 4 places at high odds with a back to lay strategy in-play.

Large Priced Handicap Horse Racing System.
This system is so easy to follow.
For each horse in a UK handicap horse race follow the simple steps below.
- Obtain the last race ( any race ) the horse finished in the top 4 positions ( latest race first ). The horse must have finished 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th. Note down the horses official rating OR and the weight WC the horse carried in that race.
- Now Subtract the last race OR ( Step 1 ) from the horses current OR for the race you are analysing. Also subtract the WC ( Step 1) form the horses current weight.
- Using the results from Step 2 the OR difference must be 0 or -1 and WC different must be greater than or equal to 8. If this is true you have a potential bet.
An Example Day 3rd January 2021
Catterick 2.35 De Forgotten One 9/4 Won
Southwell 1.40 Crownthorpe 6/1 Won
Southwell 2.45 Qaaraat 12/1 2nd
This is how simple this system is and effective in EW doubles or on the Betfair place market.
