Oddschecker Horse Racing

Oddschecker Horse Racing UK

I use the fabulous and is easy to use Oddschecker horse racing website to give me an overall view of the bookmakers and betting exchange prices for UK horse racing. These Oddschecker horse racing odds are readily available and can be scanned very quickly.

So, you may ask why I do this, well there are several reasons. I will try to outline these reasons in this article.

1.    Once I have isolated a couple of selections from my own UK horse racing systems preferably in handicap races but excluding 3yo flat and long distance flat races over 1m 5f. I then use Betfair and Oddschecker to align the prices or odds and check for any discrepancies amongst these bookmakers. I can quickly ascertain if horses are fancied as indicated by blue shading and horses that are on the drift indicated via pink shading. The Oddschecker website also gives a pie chart of the percentage tip selections. In other words what horses are fancied for that day’s racing but remember this I would always pick the horses which are recommended by only 1 tipster and you may ask why?
Life has taught me not follow the crowd and that one tipster might just have the skinny on that horse or selection they have picked. But I will let you choose your preferred method.
2.    The tips selection write ups are excellent and give you an overview and, in my opinion, a pretty accurate view. This is great for the punters who want to see the frequency of tips and their corresponding horse comments and follow these. But let’s be frank about this most punters do not have the time to pick their own selections.
3.    Now this website is packed with even more useful information to help punters, but you can gain even more data by looking at the odds distribution amongst the bookmakers and exchanges.

Conclusions

My advice and take it or leave it if you are picking horses do your homework and use this excellent website as a tool that will give you valuable input into your horse form reading!
