5f 6f Flat Races UK Horse Form

5f 6f Flat Races UK Horse Form Opinion

I love 5f and 6f races especially at UK AWF – All Weather Flat meetings in low grade company class 5 and 6. These horse races just fascinate me it’s like a jigsaw puzzle. But the reason for this article is how do we treat horse form for a particular horse that has been running in races at 5f and 6f in its career. I will give you some examples of this.

Drop In Trip 6F To 5F

I do not like horses dropping in trip from 6f to 5f a pure 5f speed ball will in my opinion beat a 6f horse. I do have an exception to the rule here is that when the 5f race is at a stamina demanding course. I think the 6f experience comes into hand here and just gives it an edge at the business end of a race due to the distance of an extra furlong. If a true 5f horse can get a commanding lead, then that’s a different story. Some 5f horses like to come off the pace. When doing horse form, you must factor in the distance, going, course and weight the horse is carrying.

5f Distance At Different Courses

This is very important I do not like backing 5f horses running on turf when they usually run at UK AWF – All Weather Flat tracks. I am not saying they do not win but it’s just a rule I follow. The same is when switching from turf to UK AWF – All Weather Flat tracks. This is my opinion, and you must have an opinion and not follow the crowd.

I hope you enjoyed this short article.
