Sha Tin race course, never been there, this was a new journey for me and one I wanted to achieve.

What Is The Sha Tin Horse Racing System

This Sha Tin horse racing system book has took me a year to deliver. The book was completely different to write due to myself being a newbie to Hong Kong horse racing form. I have written approximately 40 books around UK horse racing betting systems, maily handicap horse racing. So this Sha Tin horse racing system was a huge challenge for me. The next Hong Kong horse racing system will be for Happy Valley horse racing, so watch this space.

I do not mean travelling there, I mean modelling/developing and documenting a horse racing system for Sha Tin. I am absolutely fascinated by Hong Kong racing and love the top class jockeys who ride there. I will explain about this system in more detail later, but this will be completely different from my other UK systems which are multi-faceted.

So, what do I mean multi-faceted?

Well horse racing form can be viewed in multiple ways and this system was a serious challenge and a very large challenge indeed. All of this was a steep learning curve, and I hope you like it. Developing a Sha Tin system gave me a headache in fact it frustrated the hell out of me as I could not join up the dots. I tried to encapsulate the data and metrics with regards to horse racing form, betting odds and jockey positional tactics. This system had one approach as it was one race track but with two courses and a small number of tweaks to address this.

The Sha Tin horse racing system concentrates on handicap horse racing but only on the turf track and not the dirt track.

Jockey Positional Tactics

I cannot mention jockey names but after watching a small number of jockey cams at Sha Tin and I mean only a  few due to the limited data available, I saw tactical distance markers in a race, more on this later.  But a jockey has more experience than me and the top jockeys ride horses everyday and can judge pace and distance so excuse my ignorance.

I cannot believe I became obsessed with Sha Tin flat racing as I was a Cheltenham festival addict where the top national hunt horses competed for the top prizes. This was my passion for 20 years. Then my love affair with jump racing diminished and I moved over to UK flat horse racing and even better all weather racing another great love.
